Lieutenant of Somerset to visit Burnham-On-Sea hovercraft AGM
The
Lord Lieutenant of Somerset, Lady Elizabeth Gass, will be the
guest at the 2006 Annual General Meeting of BARB, the charity
that runs Burnham-On-Sea's rescue hovercraft.
 The
event will start at 8pm this Friday (April 7th) at The Old Courthouse
in Jaycroft Road, to which all members of the public are welcome.
Lady
Gass will visit the BARB hovercraft station earlier in the evening,
in addition to the town's Coastguard and RNLI before moving on
to the annual meeting.
At
the meeting, a busy year of rescues and fundraising will be recounted
and plans for the year ahead will be discussed.
