Bikers
to roar into action for Burnham-On-Sea hovercraft
Mid
Somerset and South Bristol Motorbike Club is to hold a fundraising
bike ride to raise funds for BARB, the Burnham-On-Sea charity
that runs the town's two life-saving hovercrafts.
The
group is encouraging motorbike owners to join the 60 mile ride,
which will be held on Sunday September 14th.
The
convoy of bikes will leave the Bristol Bridge Inn on the A38 in
Highbridge at 10am and finish at the hovercraft station on Burnham
seafront at around 1pm when all the bikes will be on show to the
public.
"All
are welcome, from 50CC mopeds upwards, old or new," said
organiser Norman Templeman, who is also a member of BARB's crew.
"We
already have over 20 motorcyclists signed up and would very much
welcome others," he said.
For
details of how to join the event, contact Norman on 07763 099986.
