Burnham
hovercraft to benefit from Brean Leisure Park concerts
Big-hearted
bosses at Brean Leisure Park are set to raise funds for Burnham's
rescue hovercraft during a series of concerts this August.
The
park has announced that £1 from every family ticket sold
at its Party In The Park concerts will be donated to BARB, the
charity that runs Burnham's life-saving Spirit Of Lelaina hovercraft.
Popular
Somerset group The Wurzels will be headlining the concerts on
Thursday August 3rd, 10th and 17th.
Gates
open at 7pm and the shows will be held between 7.30pm and 10pm.
Family
tickets are £10 in advance or £15 on the gate. Tickets
are £3 per person in advance or £5 on the gate. Tickets
are available by calling 01278 751 595.
Burnham's
hovercraft has helped and rescued more than 90 people during the
last two years and all money donated to BARB is ploughed directly
back into training its crew and maintaining the craft.
