Four-legged
supporters of Burnham hovercraft!
Among
the crowds who turned out to support the Burnham-On-Sea hovercraft at
last weekend's emergency services promotion day were these pair of four-legged
supporters!
The dogs were clearly dressed to impress with their very own tailor-made
hovercraft uniforms.
Made
of bright orange material just like the jackets of the human crew members,
the clothing was even embossed with the BARB name!
Owned
by BARB Hovercraft Chairman Alan and his wife, Claire (pictured), the
dogs clearly have the Burnham hovercraft close to their heart.
They
were on show at ESCAPE, the Emergency Services Community Awareness and
Promotion Event, where the public were given an opportunity to see BARB's
rescue hovercraft, the RNLI's lifeboats, Coastguard vehicles, Avon and
Somerset Constabulary police cars and the county's ambulances.
The event was held on Burnham's seafront on August 21 and attracted
large crowds who poured hundreds of pounds of much-needed funds into
the organisations' collection tins.
