Burnham-On-Sea's
hovercrafts towed through town during winter carnival
Burnham-On-Sea's
hovercraft crew received a great reception when they towed both
their crafts through the streets of the town during the popular
winter carnival this week.
The
Spirit Of Lelaina and Light of Elizabeth were among more than
100 entries and emergency vehicles on display at the procession
on Monday night (November 6th).
Both
of the group's 4x4 towing vehicles were used to haul the crafts
along near the front of the parade.
These
photographs, taken in the centre of the town, show the hovercrafts
moving along the procession, escorted by
crew members. A
BARB spokesman said: "We got a great reception from the large
crowds all along the route."
