Tickets
have gone on sale this week for a special concert being organised
by Burnham's Mayor and Mayoress to raise money for the town's
hovercraft and lifeboats.
Both
the RNLI and BARB will benefit from the Mayor's Charity Concert
to be held on Sunday April 2nd at 7pm in The Community Centre,
Highbridge.
Entertainment
will be provided by Curtain Call Performing Arts School (pictured)
and the Burnham and Highbridge Town Band.
A
ploughman's supper will also be laid on, with the audience being
invited to bring their own bottles.
Tickets,
priced £6.50, are available now from GC Music in College
Street, Burnham-On-Sea.
Mayor
Eric Gill and Mayoress Gilli Kenyon-Gill, who are organising the
event, said: "As our year in office approaches its end, we
want to put on a special event to raise money for both these vital
Burnham services who are a real credit to our town."
