Children
meet Santa at Burnham-On-Sea charity's fundraising event
Over
140 children met Father Christmas during a two-day charity fundraising
event in Burnham-On-Sea over the weekend.
Santa was in a specially-built grotto at the town's hovercraft
station on both Saturday December 20th and Sunday December 21st,
where he met families and handed out gifts to youngsters.
Burnham's Mayor and Mayoress, Peter and Jo Burridge-Clayton, were
among the visitors with their four-year-old son Nathaniel (pictured
above) during the weekend.
Father
Christmas was towed through Burnham's town centre on the Light
of Elizabeth hovercraft at the start of the event on Saturday,
as pictured.
BARB,
the charity that runs Burnham's two life-saving hovercrafts, also
held a Christmas raffle and tombola, which raised a total of £860
towards the organisation.
