£635 raised for Burnham hovercraft by talented youngster
A
generous ten year-old girl has raised £635 for Burnham-On-Sea
hovercraft by using sign language to perform songs in front of audiences
at Brean.
Debbie Sinyard of Berrow raised £350 at the Seagull Inn and £250
at the Tavern, Unity Farm. A further £35 came from other donations.
She performed 'Seven Spanish Angels' using Native American sign language
in front of large audiences in the village and decided that Burnham's
hovercraft was the ideal recipient for the funds.
BARB Secretary Peter Charles said: "She gave such a spirited performance
and clearly is a very talented little girl with a big heart.
"We are very grateful indeed for the funds she has raised for us
and would also like to thank the two publicans - Richard House and Kelvyn
McDonnell - for their support."
