Burnham
residential care home raises funds for town's hovercraft charity
The
charity which operates Burnham-On-Sea two rescue hovercrafts has
been handed a donation by fundraisers at a residential care home.
Hovercraft
Operations Manager Pete Emery was presented a donation of £71
by Cliff Puddy following a special Christmas Carol Service at
Elizabeth Court on Friday December 14th.
Other
local groups receiving donations included Burnham Arthritis Club,
Sounds and Voices, Burnham and Highbridge Stroke Club and Burnbridge
Diabetics Club.
Mr
Emery said: "We are very grateful for this donation, which
will help towards the ongoing maintenance costs of BARB's two
hovercrafts."
