The Burnham-On-Sea Hovercraft Crew

BARB, the charity that runs Burnham-On-Sea's rescue hovercrafts, is run by a friendly, dedicated team of volunteers who are committed to saving lives along the Somerset coastline.

The crew meet each week at their seafront-based station to train and ensure the group's equipment is maintained to a very high standard.

We always have vacancies for volunteers whether in our shore crew and administration - so whatever your interest, you can get involved.

How do I find out more?

Come down to the Burnham-On-Sea hovercraft station (located on the seafront near to the Tourist Information Centre) any Wednesday evening between 7pm-8.30pm to find out how you can get involved.
