Burnham-On-Sea
hovercraft charity receives boost from Moose Lodge

Generous
members of a Burnham-On-Sea fraternal group have handed over a
donation of £100 to the town's rescue hovercraft charity.
Members
of Moose International Lodge 123 and their ladies circle were
given an talk about the Burnham Area Rescue Boat's hovercraft
on Thursday evening (March 27th) by BARB Secretary Roger Flower
and crewmember Ellie West.
At
the end of the talk, the BARB volunteers were presented with a
cheque for £100 by the Moose ladies circle.
The
money had been collected by the lodge and Ladies Circle members
who gave donations in lieu of Christmas cards.
Roger said: "We are very grateful to the Ladies Circle for
their very generous donation towards the work of BARB. The money
will be used to help with the everyday expenses of running our
organisation."
Moose
Ladies Circle Lady President Yvonne Cornelius is pictured with
Dot Anderson, Roger Flower (BARB Secretary), Ellie West (BARB
Crewmember) and Jenny Dolan.
The Moose group also donated was a cheque for £410 to Childrens
Hospice South West, one of Lady President Yvonne Cornelius's chosen
charities.
Moose International is a fraternal organisation based on family
values which raises money for local and national charities, and
provides support to members.
