Burnham-On-Sea hovercraft called to help free stranded deer
Animal
rescuers called out Burnham-On-Sea's rescue hovercraft on Monday
afternoon (June 4th) after a deer was spotted trapped in mud at
Brean by a beach warden.
The
Light Of Elizabeth hovercraft was launched from the beach at 4.30pm
after animal experts from the RSPCA and Secret World Wildlife
Centre said they were concerned for the deer's welfare. It had
been spotted struggling in the mud over a mile out at low tide.
