Rotary
Club hands over cheque to Burnham's hovercraft group
A
cheque for £500 has been handed to Burnham-On-Sea's hovercraft
group after a series of successful Rotary Club fundraising events.
Crew
members from BARB, the charity that runs the hovercraft, attended
a presentation evening where they received the money.
Our
photo shows crew members Steve Perks, Dave Bailey, Pete Emery
and Clive Weal with George Moon of Burnham Rotary Club.
The
funds will go directly towards meeting the £20,000 annual
cost of maintaining the craft and training its volunteer crew.
