Burnham
Sea Cadets enjoy VIP tour of town's hovercraft station

Burnham's
Sea Cadets were given a VIP tour of the town's hovercraft station
this week when they met the crew and also got a chance to see
the two craft up close.
The
group of youngsters and leaders were shown around the Spirit Of
Lelaina and Light Of Elizabeth hovercrafts at the town's Marine
Rescue Centre.
Roger
Flower, Events Organiser at BARB, the charity that oversees the
rescue service, explained how the two craft are used in emergencies
and also discussed the work that goes on throughout the year to
keep them maintained.
The
cadets then walked down to the beach to watch the Spirit Of Lelaina
being launched during its latest night training session.
