More than a dozen youngsters from the group were shown around the hovercraft and given a demonstration of how the life-saving equipment is used before they met crew members. Dave Gordon, the group's commanding officer, said: "It's important for the cadets to visit Burnham's rescue services and get an understanding of how they operate. "Some
of them are already considering getting involved with the hovercraft

Sea Cadets were given a VIP tour of the town's hovercraft station this
week when they visited the service as part of their ongoing training.
