Hundreds of generous partygoers digged deep at the Seagull Inn's end of season party to raise cash for the Spirit of Lelaina hovercraft, which was the main beneficiary of this year's event. The much-needed funds came from entry fees, a collection and a raffle. BARB chairman Alan Miller said: "We are incredibly grateful for this substantial donation for the Burnham hovercraft. It was great to see the party-goers at The Seagull having such a fun time whilst also helping such a worthy cause." He added: "A special thank you goes to the organisers - David and Philip Scott - who did such a great job in overseeing such a smoothly-run event."
