Skittles fundraiser pulls in cash for Burnham hovercraft

A charity skittles match has raised much-needed funds for the Burnham-On-Sea hovercraft.

The fundraising event was held at The George in Highbridge for Burnham RNLI and the hovercraft on Friday evening (March 25th) and raised more than £80 for the two groups.

The photograph shows 'stickers-up' Aaron and Emily, with knockout competition winner Joy Hamerton and organiser Miki Tilley.

Mark Newman, Press and Publicity Manager for BARB, the group that runs the Burnham hovercraft, said: "We're very grateful to Miki for setting up this event and raising a good sum."
