Burnham's
hovercraft group set to benefit from Kevin Costner movie
Burnham-on-Seas
Ritz Cinema is to hold a special gala screening of a major new
sea-rescue blockbuster called The Guardian in aid
of BARB, the charity that runs the towns rescue hovercraft.
Starring
Kevin Costner, the film is an exciting story of courage and selfless
sacrifice set inside the world of Americas Coast Guard rescue
swimmers. It follows Costner's career as an elite rescue
swimmer in the Coast Guard and training school.
The
film is due to be released across the country on October 20th
by Buena Vista International (UK), but will be screened especially
early at Burnham's Ritz Cinema on Sunday 8th October at 10.30am.
Buena
Vista Internationals MD Robert Mitchell said: "We are
delighted to be supporting the Burnham Area Rescue Boat as they
provide the community with an invaluable service. We hope this
event will be a very successful fundraising event."
A
total of 110 tickets are available priced £6 each
available direct from the Ritz Cinema in Victoria Street
or by calling the box office on 01278 794123. 'The Guardian' is
a certificate 12A film.
