Burnham-On-Sea's
emergency services had a hectic afternoon on Sunday (April 29th)
after being called out to deal with two simultaneous incidents.
A
lady had to be airlifted from Brean Down
Fort (as featured here) after injuring herself in a fall. Separately,
a tractor which had become stuck in treacherous mud on Burnham's
beach had to be pulled free by a rescue team from BARB, the charity
that runs Burnham's rescue hovercraft. More....
