These were the scenes on Burnham-On-Sea's jetty during the early hours of Wednesday (February 11th) after a teenager was spotted in the sea in a distressed state.

Coastguards, police and RNLI crews were called to the jetty at 12.40am, where the 18 year-old man was seen in the freezing waters of Bridgwater Bay in an agitated state.
