Electrical
fault blamed for blaze at rear of Brean property
 Burnham-On-Sea
fire fighters have been tackling a large blaze at the rear of
a property in Church Road, Brean.
Two
pumps from Burnham were initially sent to the scene, but on arrival
this was increased to four - with two coming from Weston. Supporting
appliances from Street and Yeovil also attended.
A
spokesman said on Wednesday that three sheds and a workshop at
the back of the property had been destroyed by fire, heat and
smoke.
The
blaze was brought under control after about an hour and the spokesman
added: "The cause of the fire is unknown, but was possibly
an electrical fault."
