Berrow Village Hall offers superb facilities having been substantially rebuilt and fully refurbished during 2010. As a result we offer clean, warm and bright environment suitable for any and all occasions. A wonderful Somerset venue for hire and at very affordable rates.

Our rates are as reasonable as we can make them and profits go towards paying back the costs of the rebuilding work and ongoing maintenance / improvement of this superb community facility.

Berrow Village Hall has meeting rooms and halls for hire.

Examples:-

• Small meeting room (accommodates up to 12 people)
• Large meeting room (accommodates up to 40 people)
• Hall One ( 15 x 6.75 metres)
• Hall Two ( 15 x 6 metres)

Note: there is a folding wall which allows Hall one and hall two to be used as a single very large space ( 15 x 12.75 metres ), perfect for large events such as shows, weddings and parties and accommodating from 150 - 250 people depending on seating arrangements.

We also offer a special rate for hiring the entire building including kitchen and bar facilities so you can make our place your own for the day!

Berrow Village Hall has entertainments and alcohol licences and we can organise catering services as well as all the extra help you might need - we have local contacts and recommendations for all occasions!

About Berrow Village Hall - Our Sedgemoor by the Sea Venue

Berrow is beautifully placed right against the dunes of the north Somerset coast between the towns of Weston super Mare and Burnham-on-Sea. There are seven miles of beach interrupted only by the huge whaleback shape of Brean down which juts west into the Bristol Channel. To the east is the wide open landscape of pasture, reeds and the Somerset levels rising to the distinctive and stunning view of Brent knoll, an outlier of the Mendip hills.

Berrow Village Hall lies about a hundred yards from historic and picturesque Berrow church of St. Mary's which nestles amongst the sand dunes beside the famous Burnham and Berrow golf course and Berrow beach. The church dates from 1150 AD and is an absolute delight.

Embedded in the sands of Berrow beach lie the photogenic bones of the wreck of a Norwegian barque "Nornen" which ran aground here in a severe gale on March 3rd 1897. Thanks to the valiant local lifeboat crew, no lives were lost, but Nornen remains where she foundered to provide a scenic backdrop for visitors.

The figurehead from the Nornen was saved and can now be seen displayed in Berrow Village Hall.
