DanceFit runs a variety of dance and fitness classes for children and adults all at the newly refurbished Dance Studio on The Westmans Trading Estate in Love Lane, Burnham-on-Sea. It provides fun classes suitable for all ages and abilities, whether you want to learn how to dance, get fit or just have fun and meet new friends, there is something for everyone, with lots of opportunities to take part in shows, and take exams following the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing syllabus.

Dance classes allow you to have fun, meet new people and get fit without realising you are working out. We have classes in many different dance styles so there is something to suit everyone who wants to dance -Hip Hop, Tap Dance, Latin Infusion and Dance Pilates and Zumba

DanceFit also offers Pole Fitness classes provided by Pole Essence and for those who want a mind and body workout DanceFit offers Pilates and YogaTone.

DanceFit also provides a fitness class designed especially for new mums to workout with their babies, using exercises which incorporate the baby in their pushchair. The class involves gentle aerobics, toning using Pilates based exercises and play time for the baby and mum. This class is fantastic for anyone wanting to make new friends and get back into shape after having a baby without the worry of childcare.

There is a wide range of children’s Dance classes on offer at DanceFit, all of them are fun and exciting and they also provide a great way to exercise. Classes on offer are: - Ballet, Tap Dancing, Street Kidz, Modern/Jazz, Dinky Dance and there is a also a Junior and Senior DanceFit Group. Please see the website for more details and timetables.

At DanceFit there are two pre-school classes - Boogie Babies for children aged 18 months upwards and Boogie Boppers for children aged 3 years up to school age.

Pre-school dance and music classes are not only a fantastic way to introduce your child to dance but also to enable your child to start to develop the key skills they will need for when they start school. They will be learning in a fun and exciting way and gaining self confidence. It is also a great way to meet new friends, for the children and the parents!

The studio is equipped with a sprung floor and mirrors, there is a spacious waiting reception area where parents can sit and relax with a drink whilst their child is in class. The Studio is also available to hire for £15 per hour for workshops or classes.
