There has been a health food shop on this site for 30 years, and it changed ownership and name in August 2005.

Tom (pictured above) and Sue have expanded the range of products considerably. Besides the supplements and vitamins, there is a wide selection of organic and wholefoods, gluten-free, wheat free and dairy free food for those with intolerances, and some items that don't do you any good at all, but taste good!

Kyffins is situated in the heart of Burnham-On-Sea, Somerset. It is stocked with a huge range of health food items and their home-cooked range is popular with people who want something for lunch or for a snack.

Depending on the season, they may have fresh salads and quiches, or soups and pies. There is also a tempting array of home-made cakes and biscuits, all wheat-free and some dairy-free. Also, the occasional 'naughty-but-nice'.

The shop also has a very large range of dried herbs and spices.

On Wednesday morning, there is a fresh delivery of spelt breads, sour doughs and rolls fresh from the Common Loaf Bakery. The rest of the week they stock frozen bread from the Common Loaf.

Kyffins is also a main stockist of home brew beer and wine kits and all the paraphanalia you need to make a tasty tipple. Also on sale are kitchencraft and kitchen gadgets.
