Material Needs is a long established award-winning shop situated in the High Street of Burnham-On-Sea - at No 79.

Katharine and John Edwards acquired Material Needs in 2003. The shop had been established for some seven years, when it was acquired. Katharine and Material Needs have gained an enviable reputation for offering quality products, at competitive prices, and a friendly, courteous, helpful and efficient service.

Material Needs has been voted the South West Stitching Retailer of the Year in 2007, 2008, 2009 and now 2010, as well as the South West Knitting Retailer of the Year in both 2009 and 2010, and the Stitching Retailer of the Year overall in 2009 and again for 2010.
