Cottage Farm Childrens Nursery is a privately owned day nursery
and is registered with Ofsted. It is set in approx 2 acres of
land near Burnham-On-Sea and has plenty of off road parking.
Early years Teacher together with our fully qualified childcare
practioners plans each day carefully, tailoring arrangements to
meet each child's individual learning and welfare needs.
The children have to opportunity to explore mark making patterns
in sand, develop communication and mathematical skills through
role play, make scientific discoveries in water play and snuggle
up on the sofa with a friend to share a book.
Our own on site Forest school sees each child investigating, exploring,
and developing key skills, children are stimulated by the outdoors
and experience over time an increase in their self belief, confidence,
learning capacity, enthusiasm communication and problem solving
in an environment where they think they are just having fun. This
ethos also applies to our Beach school outings.
The children have the opportunity to attend Swimming lessons at
Burnham Sports Academy. Swimming is great exercise, and swimming
lessons for your young child encourages an active, healthy lifestyle.
Swimming also helps to develop your little one's gross motor skills,
which is critical for children under the age of 5. Younger children
learn to interact socially with others in the swimming class,
to follow directions and to pay attention to their swimming instructors.
