Shrub Farm Lodge B&B is situated on the outskirts of the village of Brent Knoll, and although it is only a short drive from the M5 motorway, it is a very secluded and quiet spot.

The Lodge is a delightful cottage nestling at the foot of the tail end of Brent Knoll. The original house is one of the oldest in the village, dating back to the 17th Century.

Some decades ago it was a guest house and restaurant but the accommodation has since been altered to make it the attractive home it is today.

During your stay you will feel that the B&B really is a home from home, with your own front door and patio seating area, you can relax and unwind as soon as you arrive!

The accommodation is decorated to a high standard and the guest suite is on the ground floor and comprises a double bedroom with an open wardrobe, easy chairs, tea and coffee making facilities, smart TV, FREE Wi-Fi and spectacular views overlooking fields and Brent Knoll. It has its own private entrance.

Shrub Farm Lodge is a totally non-smoking establishment.

This includes the porch area, the patio and garden.

The private bathroom features a walk in double shower cubicle and vanity unit with mirror and make-up light. Fresh Egyptian cotton towels and luxury complimentary toiletries are offered to our guests.

Breakfast is served in the dining room, in the main part of the Lodge. It is a delightful room full of character and on warmer days you can enjoy eating in the garden. You can enjoy a choice of fruit, cereals and of course a full English breakfast.

The owners take pride in using as much local produce as possible, some of which can be purchased from the village shop.

This B&B is ideal for a quiet break, for people walking or cycling, or for people just wanting to get away from it all! It is an ideal base to visit Burnham-on-Sea, the beaches, Wells, Glastonbury, Cheddar and the many wonderful places in Somerset.

You will receive a warm welcome and the friendly owners are on hand to help with anything else you might need. The accommodation does not allow dogs. Parking is onsite next to the cottage.
