Somerset Skills and Learning is the County Council's learning and training organisation which works in partnership with government funding agencies to offer a wide range of learning opportunities across Somerset.

Our ambition is simple - we want all our learners to achieve their full potential during their time with us. As one of the most successful training providers in Somerset, we offer an exciting and inspiring experience to learners of all ages and abilities.

To help you to get the most out of whatever you choose to learn, we have a range of support systems; impartial Information, Advice and Guidance is available for everyone; specialist help with English and maths and if you have a specific learning support need, our Learning Disability team can provide help and advice.

Every year thousands of learners benefit from joining us. They learn new skills, gain confidence and make new friends. Why not join them? It really can make a difference.

There is a wide range of courses on offer to help you progress at work or with a new career - from Maths and English to Computer and Business Skills. We run a work club at the centre on Fridays and the Jobcentre Plus job point machine is also based here for Burnham.

If you are looking for a new hobby or just to make new friends why not try a leisure course - Fitness, Horticulture, Flower Arranging, Cooking and Arts and Crafts courses are all on offer.
