New mobile phone store moves into Burnham-On-Sea
High Street

A
nationwide chain of mobile phone shops is to open a store on Burnham-On-Sea's
High Street this week.
JAG
Communications, which has more than 75 stores throughout the UK,
is moving into the premises previously occupied by Bridgwater
Communications on the corner of the High Street and Cross Street.
A
spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com that the store will sell a wide
range of phones and related accessories and
is scheduled to open on Saturday.
The
news comes as a welcome boost to Burnham's retail scene after
a spate of closures. The Little Brum gift shop closed in November
along with Crandon Computers, while both the nearby Blazing Saddles
gift shop and Bridgwater Communications also ceased trading in
the last quarter of 2005.
