Jumble sale helps to raise cash for Burnham
church's restoration fund
Several
hundred Burnham-On-Sea residents visited St Andrew's Church Hall
on Saturday morning, October 29th, to support a town church's
restoration fund.
St
Andrew's Church is holding various events to raise funds for the
restoration of the seafront building.
Saturday's
jumble sale was a big success, pulling in several hundred pounds.
Delighted Caroline Norman, who was one of the organisers, said
it had been one of the group's biggest fundraising events this
year.
The
next restoration fund event will be the Christmas Fair on Saturday
December 3rd, which will be held from 10.30am to 12 noon.
Our
photo shows Sybil Jones and Nikky Henning, two of the organisers,
with clothes on sale at the event.
