Town library celebrates 20th birthday with 'wine and words celebration'

Burnham-On-Sea library is to celebrate its 20th birthday on Friday September 30th with a special 'Wine and Words Celebration'.

Residents are invited to join staff at the library in Princess Street from 7.45pm as the facility celebrates its 20th year in its present building.

"Sit back and relax as we sample wines and hear readings from far-flung corners of the world," said a spokesman.

The wine tastings and readings will come from across Europe, and from Australia to South America. Tickets cost £5 each and are available from the library.
