You need to be a member of the library to be able to borrow books and other items.
It is a simple process to join and will only take a few minutes of your time.
The membership then allows you to use any Library throughout Somerset. On your first visit take a proof of identity and something showing your current address, such as a Utility bill or bank statement.
The Library Service operates a computerised system, so your application is dealt with straight away, and your details are put onto the computer.
You will then be issued with a membership card which can be used immediately. On each visit when you want to borrow an item you must take your card with you.

Audio books

You are also able to read newspapers and magazines, read reference books and study quietly.
