Burnham Mayor leads silence for London bomb
victims

Burnham-On-Sea's
Mayor led two minutes silence on Thursday July 14th in memory
of those who died in last week's London bombings.
Scores
of residents and visitors joined Cllr Eric Gill (pictured right)
in gathering at the town's fountain in Marine Drive at 12 noon
to rememeber those who had been killed or injured in the attacks.
The
event came as people across Britain fell silent as a mark of respect,
exactly one week on from the terrorist attacks on tube stations
and a bus on Thursday July 7th which claimed the lives of more
than 50 people.
