Salvos in Abingdon Street has closed down and the new owner has decided to turn the building into a Chinese restaurant and takeaway. The new business hopes to be up and running by the end of March. Shop fitters and builders were this week busily working at the premises, making final changes. The building is a prominent one in Burnham town centre, opposite the Somerset and Dorset pub and next to the busy junction with Pier Street. RELATED LINKS:
