MP
visits plastics company on Burnham's
Isleport
Business Park

Burnham-On-Sea
MP David Heathcoat-Amory visited a thriving manufacturing company
on the town's Isleport Business Park this week.
He
was given a tour of Amcor Flexibles Baricol, which manufactures
plastics and packaging materials.
He met General Manager Simon Embleton-Smith and Sales Manager
Bill Longworth, who explained the firm's role in making packaging
for the food market.
Speaking to Burnham-On-Sea.com after his visit, the MP said: "Amcor
uses advanced technology to stay ahead in this highly competitive
sector. I do whatever I can to support such firms as they are
vital for future employment. And our public services are funded
out of the taxes they pay."
Simon Embleton-Smith added: "It was a pleasure to welcome
David to our business and good to hear of his support for local
manufacturing activities."
