Burnham-On-Sea
animal lovers flock to garden centre's Animal Care Day
Dozens
of animal lovers flocked to Sanders Garden World, near Burnham-On-Sea,
at the weekend when it hosted an Animal Care Day to tie in with
the upcoming launch of its Pet and Aquatic Centre.
Representatives
from Secret World rescue centre in East Huntspill attended the
one-day event along with some of their furry friends.
The
animal experts also talked to visitors about pet care and collected
money for the charity.

Sanders
Garden World Director Phil Hancock said: "We hosted the Animal
Care Day to give people the chance to chat informally to representatives
from Secret World and our in-house experts about all animal-related
topics."
The
Brent Knoll garden centre has chosen Secret World as one of its
charities of the year for 2006 and will be helping the organisation
with fundraising.
The
Pet and Aquatic Centre will be officially launched at 10am on
the 25th. Pauline Kidner, founder of Secret World, will be opening
the site and Weston-super-Mares Mayor, Charles Heard, will
also be helping with the proceedings.
