Seafront parade marks unveiling of new Legion standard in Burnham

More than 100 dignitaries from across the south west converged on Burnham-On-Sea on Sunday afternoon (October 1st) for the unveiling of the British Legion's new branch standard.

VIPs from branches in Somerset attended a special parade along The Esplanade.

This was then followed by a dedication service in St Andrew's Church led by Rev Graham Witts.

The Somerset County Band from TS Dulverton were at the front of the parade, and were followed in the colourful procession by other standards from around the county.
