Circus
group's big top arrives at Burnham-On-Sea garden centre
The
troop of circus performers who are hosting Christmas shows at
Sanders Garden World near Burnham-On-Sea during December have
arrived on site and been busy putting up their big top tent.
Clowns,
trapeze artists, hula hoopers and acrobats from Circus Americano
have all been helping assemble and decorate the 12 metre high
tent in time for their run of special festive shows at the garden
centre.
Peter
Burks, Managing Director of Sanders Garden World, said: "It
is great that the troop are now on site and preparing for the
Christmas shows, which start on December 4th with a VIP preview
performance and run through until January 2nd, 2007."
The
deep pink coloured tent seats more than 650 people and has a circumference
of 32 metres. It takes two days to construct and dress.
Circus
Americano will be at the garden centre for 28 days from December
4. The troupe host shows on weekdays at 5pm and 7.30pm, on Saturdays
at 2pm, 5pm and 7.30pm, and on Sundays at 2pm and 5pm.
Tickets
for the circus are on sale now from Sanders Garden World. Adult
premier tickets cost £12 and children/OAP tickets cost £10.
Ring side seats cost £10 for adults and £8 for children/OAPs
and ordinary tickets are priced at £8 for adults and £6
