Former
world boxing champion Duke McKenzie in Brean for boxing night

Former world boxing champion Duke McKenzie was the special guest
at a night of local boxing in Brean on Thursday, March 30th.
The
former WBO and European Flyweight Champion joined an audience
of more than 400 people for a dinner boxing evening at the Farmer's
Tavern, Brean Leisure Park.
He
watched a series of twelve competitive bouts, held in conjunction
with Bridgwater's Sydenham Amateur Boxing Club, which involved
up-and-coming boxers from across the area, including fighters
from Burnham-On-Sea's King Alfred Amateur Boxing Club.
Mr
McKenzie also presented the winners with awards at the end of
the night.
Our
