Crowds
flock to Burnham's first High Street farmers' market

Crowds
of shoppers flocked to Burnham-On-Sea's first outdoor market to
be held in the town's High Street on Friday (June 23rd).
A
dozen stalls selling fresh fruit, vegetables, crafts and other
local produce were set up in the centre of the High Street near
Cross Street.
Organised
by Town Centre Manager Anne-Marie Spalding, the event will also
be held on a monthly basis on the last Friday of July and August.
Meanwhile,
a huge three-day continental market is also set to be held on
the town's seafront shortly.
It
will be held from 9.00am-5.00pm on Friday 30th June, Saturday
1st July and Sunday 2nd July.
Burnham-On-Sea.com
was first to report about the markets earlier this year, which
came after the official Farmers Markets moved to Sanders Garden
World.
