High
Street farmers' market in Burnham proves to be a big attraction

Hundreds
of people visited Burnham-On-Sea's popular farmers market on Friday
morning (July 28th) when the event was held in the town's High
Street.
Sixteen
stallholders sold a wide variety of fresh produce and crafts in
the centre of the Burnham, near the junction with Cross Street,
between 9am and 1pm.
Organiser
Liz Scott told Burnham-On-Sea.com the event had been a "big
success," adding that "most traders have been very pleased
today. They all want the event to continue here in the High Street."
And
cheese seller Steve Webber said: "The market were too far
away from shoppers when they used to be held at the swimming pool
and Princess Hall. We definitely want to continue here in the
High Street here up until Christmas."
But
no autumn dates have yet been announced - and the final farmers'
market of the year is scheduled to take place in the High Street
on Friday 25th August.
