Firefighters
tackle blaze at Burnham-On-Sea Holiday Village
Burnham-On-Sea
fire fighters were called to Burnham Holiday Village in the early
hours of Sunday morning after a blaze in a large storage area
at the site.
A
Somerset Fire and Rescue spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com that
crews from Burnham and Bridgwater had been called out after flames
were spotted at a storage workshop at 2.57am.
The
crews quickly tackled the blaze, and brought it under control
with two hose reel jets.
The
spokesman said that damage had been sustained to the store, and
added that its contents had been destroyed. The cause of the fire
is still under investigation.
