Burnham Gateway Club raises hundreds of pounds from sponsored walk

More than 20 members of the Burnham and Highbridge Gateway Club pulled on their hiking boots recently to take part in a sponsored walk at Apex Leisure Park.

The group - which included members and helpers - were fortunate to have good weather as they strode out around the lakes to raise money for the club.

Gateway chairman Arthur Thorogood told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "It was a great afternoon - all those taking part had a superb time and we're expecting to have raised several hundred pounds."
