New
Burnham-On-Sea gift shop opens doors for business
 A
brand new shop selling a wide variety of gifts, from candles to
cards and collectables, opened in Burnham-On-Sea this week.
The Gift Gallery in Cross Street is run by Sue Childs, pictured,
and opened its doors for the first time on Saturday morning. It
is open seven days a week, all year round.
Sue
told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "We are one of the few gift shops
in town that is aimed at both visitors and residents. We have
something for everyone."
A
range of gifts including candles, collectables, mirrors, and locally-made
items such as hand-made wicker produce are on sale.
Sue,
who previously worked as a carer for the RNIB in Burnham, said:
"I fancied a change and wanted to do something different,
while giving Burnham a shop that would be an asset to it."
After
a busy start, with a steady influx of vistitors, Sue is looking
forward to a successful future.
