In the Park draws music lovers to Burnham-On-Sea's Manor Gardens

Hundreds
of jazz fans flocked to Burnham-On-Sea's Manor Gardens on Sunday
afternoon (June 18th) for the town's annual Jazz In The Park event.
The
popular event was organised by CADS, the Burnham and Highbridge
Cultural Arts and Development Society, which puts on three to
four free events a year for the benefit of people in both towns.
Sunday's
event saw jazz groups from across the region performing, including
the New Society Jazz Band, Panama Jazz Band and the Roger Bond
Quartet.
One
of the organisers told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "It was a great
afternoon enjoyed by all."
"The
weather stayed fine for us - overcast but warm - and we had good
sized crowds throughout the afternoon."
In
these photos from Sunday's event, the musicians in multi-coloured
waistcoats are the Panama Jazz Band, and those in cream polo shirts
are the Bob Reynolds New Society Jazz Band. Other events organised
by CADS include Picnic In the Park in July.
