Celebrating Burnham-On-Sea students at King Alfred School

Kelly Lee, Lucy Scott and Nikki Lawton were among the A-Level students in Burnham-On-Sea celebrating this week after receiving their exam results.

Pupils from King Alfred School gathered to receive their A Level and AS results - and most were pleased with how they'd done.

The school recorded a 93 per cent pass rate - compared to a 96.6 per cent national pass rate - and record number of students have applied to universities.

Head of sixth form Sue Masters told Burnham-On-Sea.com she was "very pleased" with the results. "There were lots of good results and almost everyone has got onto the course they wanted," she added.
