Two
arrested in Highbridge as police investigate rape allegations
Two
men have been arrested on suspicion of rape after an alleged attack
on two teenage girls in Highbridge.
Police
confirmed to Burnham-On-Sea.com on Friday (August 18th) that one
of the girls has claimed she was raped while the second says she
was seriously sexually assaulted at a derelict house in Grange
Avenue last Saturday.
A
third man has been arrested in connection with the incident on
suspicion of a drug offence. All three men were realeased on bail
pending further investigations.
Police
rushed to the premises early last Saturday morning after receiving
reports of the attack.
