Quad
bike rider seriously injured in road accident near Burnham
A
quad bike rider was seriously injured in a crash on the outskirts
of Burnham-On-Sea on Thursday morning, April 27th.
The
person was injured while riding over a bridge on the B3139 which
crosses the M5 motorway near the junction pictured above.
The
rider was taken to Weston General Hospital with injuries which
were described by police as "life threatening" and "potentially
life changing."
Police
accident investigators were at the scene during the day trying
to establish a cause for the accident.
A
spokesman confirmed that no other vehicle had been involved.
