75,000
copies of new Burnham-On-Sea Shopper's Guide to be distributed

A
brand new pocket-sized guide providing residents and visitors
with an A-Z guide to Burnham-On-Sea's shops is to be launched
in May.
Burnham-On-Sea
Chamber Of Trade Chairman John Edwards, pictured below with fellow
members, officially unveiled the brochure this week at the group's
AGM.
75,000
copies of the guide are to be printed and then distributed across
the region's tourist information centres, shops, motorway services,
pubs and holiday parks in time for the busy summer season.
"Local
residents and visitors often say they are unaware of what Burnham
has to offer, so we've decided to clearly outline the vast range
of goods and services on offer here," John told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
"The
new Shopper's Guide has been designed to encourage more shopping
in our town. We plan on issuing the guide by the end of the May."
The
guide, available free of charge, will shine the spotlight on some
of the 100 or so independent shops in the town. The guide opens
up to an A3 broadsheet showing all the major roads, businesses,
facilities and attractions in an eye-catching format.
The
centre spread features a large, freehand drawn map of the town
centre featuring major roads, toilets and car parks. All the images
have been drawn by local artist Judith Champion.
There
are still a few last remaining advertising spaces to fill and
prospective advertisers can get in contact with the Chamber Of
Trade via their Web
page on Burnham-On-Sea.com.
