Opera
singer Tim Pitman woos the crowds at Burnham-On-Sea concert

Hundreds
of opera fans flocked to a garden centre near Burnham-On-Sea on
Wednesday (August 23rd) to hear West Country singer Tim Pitman
perform an impressive line-up of opera music.
Heavy
rain failed to dampen spirits at the outdoor concert, held in
Sanders Garden World's Village Square, when around 300 people
listened to the professional operatic tenor singer and songwriter
perform a range of modern and classical songs.
Tims
Manager, Victor Spark, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "Tim performed
a wide variety of songs during the concert, ranging from classic
pop songs from the 1950s and 1960s through to classical Arias
made famous by world-renown tenors such as Enrico Caruso, Mario
Lanza, Luciano Paverotti, Jose Carreras, Placido Domingo and Andrea
Bocelli. He has a superb voice and is a real talent."
During
the event, Tim, who performed at the Glastonbury Extravaganza
with the Royal Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra last year after
being invited by Michael Eavis, received loud applause as he hit
all the right notes despite suffering from a throat infection.
A
heavy rain storm left part of the garden centre flooded just before
Wednesday's performance was set to get underway, forcing it to
be postponed by 30 minutes.
